By K atie t rojanoreporter S taffOn Sunday, five days after winning a four-personcontest for the 12th Suffolk House seat, BrandyFluker Oakley sat down with the Reporter to talkabout her victory as a first-time candidate, herexperiences canvassing and campaigning duringa pandemic, and about what’s next for her team totake up.What happened on election day, she said, was a bitof “a blur.” According to results from both Bostonand Milton precincts, she posted 4,047 votes in hercolumn, or about 39 percent of the total cast. Behindher, at 30 percent, or 3,144 votes, was Jovan Lacet,who lost his third race for the seat in the last sixyears. The victory means she will replace Rep.
