When compared to theother two groups of hearing care professionals (hearing instrument specialistsand otolaryngologists), audiologists seem to fare slightly better in thisunfortunate rating, but are still far from being perceived as consistently strongin these areas.Clearly, hearing care providers do not share this view of professionalinsensitivity and indifference.
